Bartender Guidelines & Competition Schedule
All bartenders are required to bring their own ingredients except for alcohol, which will be provided by us. Please bring enough ingredients to make 50–60 cocktails. We will be serving the public sample portions of approximately 2 oz each.
Some compensation and reimbursement will be offered for purchased ingredients to help cover costs after the competition.
A photo of your cocktail will be displayed during the 5–6 PM judging period so guests can appreciate the aesthetic of your drink, as it will not be feasible to serve 100+ full-size versions. The official judges will receive full versions of your cocktail for scoring.
Details on the Speed Round and Game Show Trivia portions will be announced soon.
BAR TOOLS
Basic bar equipment will be provided. (Shaker, strain, muddler, spoon, etc..)
Competition Timeline
3:00 – 5:00 PM – Prep and setup for judges and guests
5:00 – 6:00 PM – Judges’ panel tasting (no public guests, except select VIPs)
6:00 – 7:00 PM – Public entry and People’s Choice voting
7:30 – 8:15 PM – Speed Competition
8:30 – 9:15 PM – Game Show Trivia
