Mix It Up is an interactive events and mixology company creating hands-on food and beverage experiences for corporate events, conferences, private parties, weddings, and celebrations across Atlantic Canada.

From cocktail classes and mobile bartending to interactive food and beverage activations, we bring the experience directly to you.

Our goal is simple: create events that are professional, engaging, and genuinely fun to be part of.

THE MIX IT UP STORY

Mix It Up started with a simple idea: cocktails should be more than something you order at a bar.

They can be an activity. A conversation starter. A team-building experience. A way to bring people together.

What began with cocktail classes has grown into a broader interactive events company working with corporations, private groups, hotels, event venues, and organizations across Atlantic Canada.

Today, Mix It Up creates customized experiences built around the people, space, and purpose of each event.

Whether we're teaching a group how to make cocktails, running a conference activation, providing professional bar service, or creating a completely custom food and beverage experience, we bring the same approach to every event: professional service, hands-on participation, and a lot of personality.

MEET THE TEAM

AARON MALLEY

Founder / Cocktail Educator

Aaron is a bartender, cocktail educator, and hospitality professional with more than a decade of experience in the industry.

His career has included hospitality roles across Canada, bar management, venue openings, beverage programming, staff training, and international hospitality operations.

Aaron also worked as a Learning & Development Specialist at Siyam World Maldives, where he trained bartenders and hospitality teams in a large-scale luxury resort environment.

Through Mix It Up, Aaron has personally taught more than 300 cocktail classes and helped deliver events ranging from intimate private experiences to large-scale events with 1,000+ guests.

His approach combines professional cocktail technique with a relaxed, approachable teaching style.

SOPHIE ALLAIN

Co-Founder / Events & Experience

Sophie brings creativity, organization, and a strong focus on the guest experience to Mix It Up.

Working alongside Aaron, she helps develop, coordinate, and deliver events that feel polished from start to finish.

Together, Aaron and Sophie bring a combination of hospitality experience, creativity, and attention to detail to every Mix It Up event.
